” said MP Lemieux. “As we see here today, our Economic Action Plan is creating jobs and delivering real results right here in East Hawkesbury.
”
"Recreational facilities are a vital part of Ontario's fabric, and enrich our lives and our children's lives in many ways," said MPP Lalonde. "This infrastructure investment in East Hawkesbury creates jobs now, helping to stimulate the local economy.”
“The construction of a new community /emergency centre and improvements to the bridge on Grande Montée have been a high priority for our township,
” said Mayor Kirby. “ Today is an important day for us--this groundbreaking ceremony represents the realization of our goal to provide modern conveniences to the people of our municipality and to build landmarks for the future generation. We are also celebrating the completion of the works to the bridge on Grande Montée.
”
During these challenging economic times the governments of Canada and Ontario have taken steps to get shovels in the ground and to flow money faster for targeted infrastructure projects in the 2009 and 2010 construction seasons.
